We've been enjoying Lane Smiths "It's a Book" and have written our own versions of the story.
Here's the book trailer to give you an idea of the story flow:
Here's Hannah's version:
It's a piece of paper
“Whats that?”asked Weirdo.
“It’s a piece of paper”, said Wizard Smarty-pants.
“Can it change channels?” asked Weirdo.
“No, it’s a piece of paper,” answered Wizard Smarty-pants.
“Does it need a remote control”, Weirdo.
“No, it’s a piece of paper”.
“Can it make this sound effect”, BOOM BOOM POW! “I don’t mean this one I mean that one”, BANG!”
“No”
“Can I look at it?”
“Sure”
“I will just plug it in and put the antenna on the roof”
“YOU DON’T NEED TO IT’S A PIECE OF PAPER WEIRDO!”

ReplyDeleteI would like to comment on your "It's A Book" movie. I found it very funny. Hannah, your version was very good. Have you read the book, what is it like? Where did you get it from?

Hi Pieta - our school librarian had the book - we were the first class to read it. Your local library might have a copy of the book.
ReplyDeleteCheers
